Bloomberg Law reports that the President’s proposed budget may finally bring about long-awaited CBD regulations from the FDA:

“Cannabis regulation is a new top-line priority for the FDA as Congress demands better research and the cannabis-derived supplement CBD grows in popularity, according to President Donald Trump’s budget proposal released Monday.

“The administration’s budget request carves out $5 million for the Food and Drug Administration to conduct research and inspections, and crack down on illegally marketed cannabis products.”
